History

For well over a century, the men and women of the Harrison Police Department have proudly protected the residents, businesses, and visitors of the Town of Harrison. As our community has grown from a small industrial town into one of New Jersey's most vibrant municipalities, the Harrison Police Department has continually adapted while remaining committed to professionalism, integrity, and public service.

The Harrison Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 22 was established.
For more than a century, the PBA has represented Harrison's police officers while advocating for public safety, officer wellness, charitable giving, and community involvement.
Since 1909, Harrison PBA Local 22 has proudly stood beside the officers who protect and serve our community.
